We enjoyed the chocolate shop. The tour is free, which is nice, but call ahead and get a reservation for it. I didn't think it would be that busy on a Tuesday and we could just show up; I was wrong! Fortunately they got us in a couple hours later so we just left and came back. There was no production going on during our tour, which was a little disappointing, but we still saw machines and the guide was enthusiastic to tell us about the process anyway. An overall good experience for a free tour with chocolate samples included!

Stopped in before flying home to get a couple of presents, and to my surprise, they've changed the name from "Buckeye" to "Peanut Butter Truffle". Fine outside OH I guess, but what an epic fail by the marketing team to not understand your local market, I would suggest nobody purchase them in here until called what they should be called here. Assistants were 5*, and tried to offer a work around, but won't be back or purchase this particular treat from this company until named as it should be.

If you're ever in Canton Ohio and you're looking for something to do (besides visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame) try the free tour at the Fannie May Chocolate Factory. The factory is located right next to the Akron/Canton airport and the tour takes 45 to 60 minutes [and includes several free samples of their excellent chocolate]. The tour guide was fun & helpful (and a bundle of energy). All-in-all, a good time that cost nothing and includes chocolate!! What could beat that?! Be sure to make a reservation as I don't think the take walk-ins. There is also a company store at the factory where you can buy many of the chocolates that are made there. No reservation required to visit the store.

Came on a weekend so sadly didn’t get to tour the factory, but did some shopping. Helen was very helpful and gave us some fun history about the place! She recommended if we wanted to do a tour to make sure we call ahead to reserve. Great chocolate!

We have gone by many times, glad we stopped in! What a fun tour! The people that work there are great and smile alot! Lots of good smelling and tasting chocolate. The history is very interesting here. They have an 8 minute video with chocolate samples of course and a surprise at the end of the tour! Great sale on chocolate! Yum!!
